Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database and ETL Tester to join our team.
As a Database and ETL Tester, you will be responsible for validating the integrity, accuracy, and quality of data in both databases and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. You will ensure that data flows correctly from source systems to target databases and that it meets business requirements, while also ensuring database systems’ consistency, performance, and correctness.
Key Responsibilities
- ETL Testing: Validating and verifying ETL processes, ensuring accurate and efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Database Testing: Performing functional, regression, and integration testing of databases, ensuring their accuracy, consistency, and performance.
- Test Case Design & Execution: Designing, developing, and executing detailed test cases and scripts for both ETL and database functionalities.
- Data Validation: Verifying data accuracy, conducting data reconciliation between source and target systems.
- Automation Testing: Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for increased efficiency.
- Issue Tracking & Reporting: Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
